He began his career in 1975 with Cogecot SA in Geneva, from 1977 to 1982 he developed his client base at Bache Halsey Stuart Shields Inc in the commodities and foreign exchange business (Vice-President-Investments 1982). From 1982 to 1987 he was head of the vegetable oils department in Switzerland at PABCO SA (Pasternak Baum SA), at this time leading world broker in this field. From 1987 to 2017 he worked in Geneva as a relationship manager in the following institutions, T&M Trusteeship & Management Services SA, Banque de Gestion Privée, Banque du Gothard here he was Head of Private Banking and Member of the Investment Committee of Groupe Oudart in Paris after participating in its acquisition by Banque du Gothard in 1999. From 2008 to 2017 he spent nine years at Banque Syz & Co, Geneva as a Director, Senior Relationship Manager and Member of the Investment Committee. Jean-Louis holds a Law Degree from Geneva University and he also holds the following certifications: NYSE/NASD series 7, General Securities Registered Representative and Commodities Registered Representative.
