
has experience from both private and public sectors. He began his career in the banking sector at Credit Lyonnais, Paris (1983-1990) before joining Marsh McLennan (1991-1995). He then worked as Chief of Cabinet of the Minister of Finance of the Principality of Monaco (1995-2000) before serving as Minister of Finance and Economy of the Government of the Principality of Monaco (2000-2006). During that period of time, he also acted as Executive President of Monaco’s public venture capital fund and was responsible for Monaco’s Sovereign wealth fund (2,5 bln euros). He was later appointed as Minister of Foreign Affairs (2008-2010) where he successfully achieved the removal of Monaco from OECD’s list of uncooperative Tax Havens (OECD’s blacklist). In 2011-2012 he was appointed by Monaco Authorities as CEO of a company specialized in the Hospitality Industry, Monaco Qatari Diar Hotels and Resorts Management SAM. From 2012 as of today, he is founding partner of Penta Multi Family Office and Penta Advisory SAM, in Monaco.
